LGC is a queer, trans and disabled artist led life drawing collective co-founded by Kizzy and Alex Thompson in lockdown 2020. LGC became a community of artists, models and queers, a space to challenge heteronormativity in the art scene and co-create experimental, disruptive visions of body.
Since its inception, LGC has grown and now includes a team of organisers and volunteers, models and members. LGC has partnered with Suffolk Libraries and Suffolk Pride, featured on BBC Belongings, and continues to work with several other grassroots community organisations and venues to deliver sessions and exhibit work across East Anglia.
Kizzy left the collective in 2024 and continues to support and encourage LGC’s current programme of events. Please direct booking queries to @liminalgazecollective.
