Workshops| Projects

My experience facilitating workshops and collaborating on project work has its foundations in my background working with cooperative organisations. My involvement in co-op networks included contributing to an array of projects from delivering community focussed multi-organisation projects, creating copy and content for websites, social media, internal communications, policy documents and outreach communications.
Co-ops have developed my communication and facilitation skills, as well as enhancing my ability to project manage and problem solve with compassion and collaboration at the fore of my working style.
Follow the links below for more details on my recent projects.
The Roving Jewel

A cast of mummers drawn from the wealth of British folk history, literature, art and legend.
The Roving Jewel is an oral storytelling project that uses the heritage craft of puppetry to connect with audiences and invite them to enjoy the rich history of British folktale and literature.
Sculpted in Norfolk alongside their hand-built miniature puppet theatre by artist, writer and hedge bard Kizzy, The Roving Jewel seeks to return the subversive stories of our land to the commons.
Strangedogs Kitchen

Strangedogs is Kizzy’s kitchen project, which specialises in wild food, ferments, foraging and folk cookery.
Kizzy has catered several private and community focussed events alongside working in several plant based kitchens. They regularly guest at The Skate Retreat in Norfolk. Kizzy also researches recipes and shares digital content on historical cookery and the folklore of land and kitchens.
They are a keen gardener and grower of unusual and obscure herbs.
Liminal Gaze Collective

LGC is a queer, trans and disabled artist led life drawing collective co-founded by Kizzy and Alex Thompson in lockdown 2020. LGC has become a community of artists, models and queers, a space to challenge heteronormativity in the art scene and co-create experimental, disruptive visions of body. Kizzy left the collective in 2024 and continues to support & encourage their ongoing programme of events.
Other Worlds: Writing the Commons

Hosted by Kizzy and Moss Milne from Spiral Path, Other Worlds invites participants to join in imagining new enchanted narratives and storytelling practises for land and nature, for ourselves and for the future.
Other Worlds also includes use of a digital storytelling web app which allows participants to conspire, to collaborate, share work and continue their collective storytelling
