Kizzy is a queer, working class writer and visual artist that grew up in the New Traveller community in the East of England. Their creative and critical work is informed by a non-traditional, radical exploration of the natural world.
Kizzy writes short fiction and narrative essays; their creative and critical work deals with themes of displacement, class, alterity and land. Their work also inhabits oral storytelling practises and takes the form of performance, zine making and collaborative workshops. They are an 2023/24 Escalator fellow with the National Centre for Writing and graduated with an MA in Creative and Critical Writing in Summer 2025.
Kizzy is currently working on her debut novel Sundogs, which is a full length folk realism novel set in the liminal realm of the semi-rural council estate.
